The brief:

The company wanted a logo that represents Nepal and uses muted, earthly colors inspired by nature. The logo should also be recognizable at a very small scale when its engraved on their products.

About the design:

The logo mark is composed of the leaf of a rhododendron – the national flower of Nepal. The typography follows a modern yet classic look with a ligature connecting the "r" and "i".

The color palette resembles Nepals vast nature and extracts colors from the Mount Everest, rice terraces and Nepalese wood carving.
